So we finished the bedrooms. Praise be to gods.
I think we went a bit faster yesterday, I credit the fabulous music I was playing. I mean, last week we had some Chill Out blah blah, which frankly, makes me want to curl up on the plastic drop sheets and go to sleep.
This week we had All The Best! by Paul McCartney, ELO’s Greatest Hits and Queen’s Greatest Hits.
Time just went so much faster for me when I had something to sing along to.
Time possibly dragged for poor old Schoon.
Though I am an excellent singer.

Huzzah! We finished the farking painting!
The lovely Jeanette and Gracie came over on Saturday and helped us finish off the living area, complete with ABBA and Kyles.
On Sunday we painted some old Ikea shelves that Dad gave us and an old beast of a shelf that was crusty, varnished pine. It is now the same cream as the walls and looks rather fabulous in my bedroom.
We still have the doors, window trims (which I keep wanting to spell as “trimes” for some odd reason) and kitchen cabinets to tackle but we are going to have a couple of weekends off in the meantime.
