My god, the excitement in my house (ok, maybe just my bedroom) on Friday morning was just out of control. I sang the Spice Girls ALL the way to work. I ran around the office asking everyone if they were going. I celebrated ALL day.

I love the Spice Girls, love, love, love them.

I mean, what’s not to love about this?

Ok… so maybe Posh looks like a cyborg with VERY LARGE BOSOMS. *Edited* I worked it out, she looks like an AVATAR with large bosoms.

And maybe Geri looks like she is about to macrame herself a lovely serviette holder. Or she would like to rip that pesky dress off to go live in a nudist colony.

But Sporty, she looks rather fabulous, not like a bloke at all. Stick with this look Mel, it’s working for you.

And Baby, doesn’t she look gorgeous with… baby? I hope if I look like this if I ever have a baby, I have a morbid fear that I will resemble a truck when I am with child, not all glowy and shit like Baby.

And even old Scary, who usually disturbs me in her fashion choices looks rather hott. Eat your nasty little heart out Eddie Murphy.

Even if that outfit kind of looks like one I wore in 1996.

But that’s what the Spice Girls reunion tour is all about, it’s about 1996 and GIRL POWER and BEING CHEEKY AND PINCHING PRINCE CHARLES’S BOTTOM and RIDING AROUND IN A BIG UNION JACK BUS WITH MEATLOAF AND RICHARD E. GRANT and WEARING PLATFORMS.

And how exciting to see some of them still wearing platforms, albeit the new fashionable 2007 versions.

Just watching this clip makes me really, really excited, and watching Posh dance in the background and her very bad lip-syncing really, really makes me laugh.
